Error Message when using McAfee VirusScan (Enterprise) 8.0 and DIAdem Simultaneously

Problem: Since I installed McAfee VirsusScan Enterprise 8.0 on my computer, I get a system error message when I launch DIAdem:
DIAdem-Mainprogram has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for this inconvenience.
Solution: It is a message from the operating system.
The message is caused by the interaction between Visual Basic Script (VBS) from Microsoft, the ScriptScanner in VirsusScan 8 from McAfee and an application that, for security reasons, does not offer scripting over the Windows-Scripting-Host (WSH)
This problem can occur in various DIAdem versions – sometimes when you launch DIAdem, sometimes when you exit DIAdem.
For DIAdem 9.1 and above, you can solve the problem by installing a DIAdem service pack. Please reference to the Related Links below to download DIAdem service packs.
For DIAdem versions older than 9.1 you can load the new Script Engine from the Microsoft Homepage. You can find the Script Engine by searching for Windows Script from the Microsoft Dowload Center linked below. From a technical point of view the McAfee ScriptScanner is disabled when the Script Engine is installed.
Another option is to modify the configuration for McAfee. Select the McAfee VirsusScan under Software in the System Control (Windows Start menu»Settings) and select Change to call the configuration menu of the Virus Scanner. Then disable the ScriptScanner and the problem will not recur.
