Compile Errors When Running NI-DAQmx Examples From LabWindows/CVI 6.0

Primary Software: LabWindows/CVI Development Systems>>Full Development System
Primary Software Version: 6.0
Primary Software Fixed Version: 7.0
Secondary Software: Driver Software>>NI-DAQmx

Problem:
Why do I get compile errors in LabWindows/CVI 6.0 when I compile the NI-DAQmx shipping examples for ANSI C?

Solution:
NI-DAQmx uses several technologies that legacy drivers do not exhibit including multithreading, a simplified application programming interface, interactive configuration, and intelligent multi-device synchronization. With each subsequent release of NI-DAQmx, National Instruments continues to deliver ways to simplify data acquisition and save time for developers.

Unfortunately NI-DAQmx is not supported in versions of LabWindows/CVI prior to 7.0. In order to perform data acquisition from LabWindows/CVI 6.0 you will need to use the Traditional NI-DAQ drivers linked below.
