How Can I Check Which Versions of NI Software are Installed and Activated?

I am not sure if I have a LabVIEW toolkit installed or which version of LabVIEW it is installed for. How can I check the activation status of all my NI software?

Use the NI License Manager to check the activation status of all of your NI Software. In Windows, go to Start Menu»Programs»National Instruments»NI License Manager.

All licensed NI Software installed on your local system will appear on this list. You can expand the items under one or more LabVIEW versions to see which toolkits and modules you have on your system. A white icon shows that the software is installed but has not been activated and green shows that it is fully activated. If you have a yellow or half yellow icon that indicated that you are using a trial or temporary license. If you would like to activate an white or yellow item right click the icon and select Activate... Then follow the steps in the activation wizard to activate over the internet or with an activation code.

If a toolkit or module appears on this list with a green activated icon but is not working correctly you may have a corrupted or incomplete install. Follow the link below to repair or reinstall your NI software. 

You may also be looking for an unlicensed National Instruments software. You can check the unlicensed software list in NI Measurement & Automation Explorer (NI MAX).  Open NI MAX and go to My System»Software to view the unlicensed National Instruments software installed on your system.
