Microsoft Mouse driver 9.0.1 can cause problems with NI-VXI. Resman reports multiple errors, and interrupts fail to work properly.Primary Software:Primary Software Version: N/A Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software:
Problem: The Windows driver installs a line "keyboard=c:\mouse\mousevkd.386" in SYSTEM.INI that can cause problems. A possible symptom of this problem is if interrupts are not working properly. Any strange Windows problems could be due to this mouse driver. Replace the line in SYSTEM.INI with the line "keyboard=*vkd". The most common symptom is the strange resman errors, and that they only occur under Windows. This is the most common problem with resman on the embedded controllers. Solution: Use the old Microsoft 8.2 DOS mouse driver or the Microsoft or PS/2 Windows mouse driver. Replace the "keyboard=" line in SYSTEM.INI. Typically replace it with =*vkd on the embeddeds.
