Problem: I have successfully installed DIAdem 11.1. However, when I try to start DIAdem, I receive the following error message: DIAdem cannot launch, because your operating system contains components that are not part of the original Microsoft Windows installation. Refer to the search term 4WT5ORFN in the NI KnowledgeBase for further information. What is causing this error and how can I resolve it? Solution: The most likely cause of this error is a component of the operating system that is not part of the original Microsoft Windows installation. The standard components can be overwritten by installing "Hotfixes" - these are not official Service Packs from Microsoft - or by installing other programs.
