Problem: My device shows up in Windows device manager and MAX. I am able to run a test panel in MAX on my DAQmx device. However, my DAQmx device does not show up in DAQ Assistant, DAQmx Global Channel vi or DAQmx Virtual Channel vi. Solution: This usually happens when LabVIEW is installed after the driver. There are two common causes of this:
When the drivers are installed in the correct order they automatically include support for all of your LabVIEW versions. However if you install a LabVIEW version after installing your drivers, LabVIEW support for that version is not automatically included. A simple fix is to modify your driver and include support for the LabVIEW version you are using.
