How Do I Install and Configure the AT-FBUS Interface Board under Windows NT?

Hardware: Industrial Communications>>Fieldbus>>AT-FBUS

Problem: I cannot get my AT-FBUS interface board to be recognized by my Windows NT system. Do you have any suggestions?

Solution: Windows NT does not have Plug and Play support for AT-FBUS cards, which means that you must manually assign resources for your AT-FBUS cards. To make this task more difficult, Windows NT does not always show all the resources that are in use by other hardware, so even though you may have selected resources for your AT-FBUS card that Windows NT indicates are available, they may not be (which leads to resource conflicts).

See Chapter 2 (Installation and Configuration) of the "Getting Started with Your AT-FBUS and the NI-FBUS Software" manual (linked below) for troubleshooting steps to follow in the case of resource conflicts. Very often going through these steps, performing them exactly as they appear in the documentation and in the same order, will result in the card working successfully.
