Information to Send With the LabVIEW Error Log File

Problem:
When I opt to send a LabVIEW error log file to National Instruments, should I include any additional information?

Solution:
A LabVIEW error log file is generated on every LabVIEW crash and it is recommend that you send the error log file to us. In order to effectively troubleshoot the crash, we would like you to send us the following information as well:

  1. Is this crash reproducible? If so, please include steps to replicate the LabVIEW crash on our end. If it requires any specific project files, VIs, etc., please attach them along with your error log file.
  2. Do you currently have a workaround? If so, how do you currently work around the LabVIEW crash?
  3. How often does this crash occur?
  4. Have you made any software or hardware changes recently that triggered the problem? If so, please elaborate on what changes were made.
Do not hesitate to include any other information you think may be relevant for troubleshooting purposes. .
