Problem: Can I connect my SCXI system to my computer via my computer's parallel port? Solution: The SCXI-1200 module is a DAQ module (comparable to the SCXI-1600) that uses a parallel cable to connect to the host computer. The SCXI-1200 module is no longer supported in NI-DAQ 7.x and later, so it must be programmed using NI-DAQ 6.9.3 or earlier. The NI-DAQ 6.9.3 driver is only supported in LabVIEW 5.0.1, 5.1, 6.0, 6.1. Therefore, if a SCXI-1200 module is being used, the LabVIEW and NI-DAQ drivers must comply with these specifications.
