What is the Current Output of the +5V Power on the UMI-7774/7772?Hardware: Motion Control>>Controllers>>PCI-7344
Problem: I am using the UMI-7774 to connect my motion controller to my motor drive and encoders. I would like to use the +5V power available on pin 4 and pin 8 of the Feedback Connector to drive my encoders. The UMI-7774 user manual states that these outputs, "generated by the UMI-7774/7772 internal power supply, are also available on the connector for powering encoders." How much current can these outputs source? Solution: The +5V power on the UMI-7774/7772 can source up to 1A of current.
