Continuous Data Display on the Scope in Multisim

Problem:

I am using an oscilloscope in Multisim to view the data while my simulation is running. I noticed that the scope keeps resetting every now and then. Is there an option that will allow me to continuously display the data on the scope?

Solution:

Multisim allows you to continuously display data on the scope and in other instruments as well. To enable this functionality you need to follow these instructions:

1. Go to Simulate » Interactive Simulation Settings.
2. Select the Analysis tab.
3. Check the Continue without discarding previous plots option.
4. Click OK to exit.

Please note that memory resources will be requested by Multisim in order to keep the history of the plot within the scope display.
