Why Do I Get Error -224939 When Doing DIO Memory Mapping Reconfiguration?

Problem:

I get error -224939 when using a DAQmx Channel property node to configure DO.MemMapEnable.

 

Solution:

DAQmx does not support reconfiguring DIO memory map enable property after a task has been verified or started. To reconfigure the DIO memory map enable property you must first return to the Unverified state. If you did not explicitly set the task to the Verified, Reserved or Committed state you can do this by stopping the task. If you explicitly set the task to the Verified, Reserved or Committed state you must explicilty set the task to the Unverified state.
