Write to a Different Database Than Citadel with LabVIEW DSC or Lookout

Problem: Using LabVIEW DSC and/or Lookout, can I write to an SQL database instead of the Citadel database, the default database that comes with these software packages?

Solution: LabVIEW DSC and Lookout only write data to the Citadel database, and Citadel only accepts data from LabVIEW DSC and Lookout. You can, however, retrieve data from the Citadel database by using either SQL queries or any Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) compliant application. One such program is MS Query, which is part of Excel.
