Error 33443 When Reading from a FieldPoint Module Primary Software: Driver Software>>NI-FieldPointPrimary Software Version: 4.1 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: LabVIEW Development Systems Hardware: FieldPoint, Compact FieldPoint
Problem: I receive error 33443 when sampling multiple channels of a FieldPoint or Compact FieldPoint module using the FieldPoint Read VI in LabVIEW. Solution: Error code 33443 indicates that more than one of the channels being accessed is reporting a bad status. Try monitoring the module through the Data Neighborhood in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX), or through FieldPoint Explorer in order to gather more specific error information for each individual channel. Also, try monitoring just the channels with signals wired to them, rather than using the 'All' channels selection for the FieldPoint I/O Point constant. When sampling from an analog input module, such as the [c]FP-AI-100 or [c]FP-AI-111, error 33443 is often caused when more than one of the channels are reading voltages outside of the software selected range, resulting in an 'Out of Range' status on several channels. This can occur when an unused input is set to a unipolar range, i.e. 0-10V. A channel with no signal connected may actually read a slightly negative value, which will cause an 'Out of Range' error when that channel is configured for a unipolar input range. To avoid this, set the range of any unused input channels to bipolar, i.e. +/- 1V.
