How do I Modify the Test Report to Generate Report only for the Tests that Failed in a Sequence In LabVIEW Test Executive 5.1?

Primary Software: LabVIEW Toolkits>>Test Executive
Primary Software Version: 5.1
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem: In LabVIEW Test Executive 5.1, how do I modify the Test report to generate report only for the tests that fail in a sequence?

Solution: Use the following steps to modify the Test report to generate a report for only the tests that fail in a sequence:
  1. Open the Format UUT Report.vi.
  2. Replace the Format Test Result String.vi with the New Format Test Result String.vi attached below.
  3. Save the VI under a new name.
  4. Update the change and save the VIs with new names for the following set of callback VIs:

    • Format UUT Report.vi
    • Format Test Report.vi
    • Test Report Callback.vi.

  5. Go into the sequence options in the Sequence Editor and in the "Sequence VIs" ring, select the Test Report Callback.
  6. Use the "Browse" button to point to the new Test Report Callback.vi you created and test the operation.
  7. Run a sequence in order to test the VI. The expected result is that the test report should have information on the steps of the sequence that failed.
