Problem: In LabVIEW Test Executive 5.1, how do I modify the Test report to generate report only for the tests that fail in a sequence?
Solution: Use the following steps to modify the Test report to generate a report for only the tests that fail in a sequence:
- Open the Format UUT Report.vi.
- Replace the Format Test Result String.vi with the New Format Test Result String.vi attached below.
- Save the VI under a new name.
- Update the change and save the VIs with new names for the following set of callback VIs:
- Format UUT Report.vi
- Format Test Report.vi
- Test Report Callback.vi.
- Go into the sequence options in the Sequence Editor and in the "Sequence VIs" ring, select the Test Report Callback.
- Use the "Browse" button to point to the new Test Report Callback.vi you created and test the operation.
- Run a sequence in order to test the VI. The expected result is that the test report should have information on the steps of the sequence that failed.
