Error -2147220717 While Trying to Deploy Shared VariablesPrimary Software: LabVIEW Development Systems>>LabVIEW Professional Development SystemPrimary Software Version: 1.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: When I try to deploy a library or shared variables on a Real-Time or a PC Target, I get the following error: Error -2147220717: The Remote Procedure Call connecting the client to the configuration server failed to be initialized. Your installation may need to be repaired. Solution: This error usually occurs on a Real-Time Target if you do not have the Network Variable Engine, also known as the Shared Variable Engine, or the Shared Variable Client installed. Make sure you have both of these installed on the target machine. The Shared Variable Engine is installed automatically with LabVIEW. If you are receiving this error with a PC Target, make sure that the variable was deployed properly. For information see the LabVIEW help on Creating and Configuring Shared Variables.
