Why Can't I Tristate My NI 6509 Digital Lines?Hardware: Digital I/O (DIO)>>Static>>PCI-6509, Digital I/O (DIO)>>Static>>PXI-6509
Problem: Why do I get error -200077 when I programmatically set my NI 6509 ports to tristate? ![]() Solution: DAQmx 8.6 and Before The NI 6509 is programmed port-by-port and the DAQmx Channel property DO.Tristate is configured line-by-line, which makes the combination incompatible. A subVI has been created as a substitute for the property. Replace the DO.Tristate property with the subVI attached below. DAQmx 8.7 and Above The NI 6509 gained support for line-by-line tristating in DAQmx 8.7 and this functionality has been kept for the newer versions of DAQmx.
