Why is my RIO Device Not Showing up in MAX under PXI System?Hardware: Reconfigurable I/O (RIO)>>R Series
Problem: When accessing an R-Series PXI board that is inside a remote chassis, why does the device not show up in MAX under PXI System items as thought? Solution: As you can see in the figure below, the RIO device does not appear under PXI System. It does, however, show up under RIO Devices. As of NI RIO 2.3, this behavior is to be expected because NI VISA 4.2 no longer shows RIO Devices under PXI System. This change does not affect the functionality of the devices since they can still be detected and programmed using LabVIEW and the FPGA module.
