Why Does Measurement and Automation Explorer Hang When I Save a DAQmx Task From VI Logger?

Problem:
What can I do when editing and saving a DAQmx task multiple times in MAX from VI Logger causes hanging?

Solution:
This issue is seen in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) versions 4.2 and 4.2.1.

If you have MAX version 4.2.1, please download the attached patch to fix this issue.

If you have MAX version 4.2, please download and install the latest driver for your product. If you then have MAX version 4.2.1, please download the attached patch to fix this issue.
