Problem: I just purchased VirtualBench-Logger software for my PCMCIA-5102 High Speed Digitizer. The PCMCIA-5102 works fine with VirtualBench-Scope but VirtualBench-Logger does not recognize the device. Error code 10401 is exhibited when I try to start the data logger. What is my problem? Solution: When you launch VirtualBench, it checks the types of the boards installed in your computer. It allows you to use only those instruments that will work with the installed boards. VirtualBench-Logger requires the hardware to perform continuous acquisitions, and will only detect those devices that can acquire data continuously. Both the PCI-5102 and PXI-5102 can transfer acquisition samples to host memory in real time. The AT-5102, PCMCIA-5102, and USB-5102 can only transfer data after the acquisition is finished.
