LabVIEW Test Executive Gives Error 1 and Cannot Load the Callback VIsPrimary Software: LabVIEW Toolkits>>Test ExecutivePrimary Software Version: 5.1 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: When launching Test Executive from the LabVIEW Project menu, I receive Error 1 and Test Executive does not launch. When I run it by opening the Test Executive VI from LabVIEW, it gives the Error "Initialization Error: unable to load the following callback vis: <list of all of the callback vis>". I opened the TestExec.ini file and it was completely blank. Solution: If you are using the shipping Test Executive 5.1 with LabVIEW 5.0, then you will probably not get this error. There is a chance that you will get it when you recompile the Test Executive 5.1 for use with LabVIEW 5.0.1. You may also get this error if you are running Test Executive 5.1 with LabVIEW 6. Replace the testexec.ini file (located in your LabVIEW/LVEXEC51 folder for LabVIEW 5.x and in your LabVIEW 6/LVEXEC51 folder for LabVIEW 6) with the file attached (below), or save the Read System Callbacks.vi (in the attached makeini.llb file) into the engine.llb file to fix this problem. There are two "testexec.ini" files below. The first file is written using forward slashes for LINUX machine running LabVIEW 5.x, the second is written using back slashes for a Windows machine running LabVIEW 6. Related Links: Attachments:
