Problem: When I migrate my Test Executive 5.1 (or 5.1.1) system over to LabVIEW 6i, my test VIs no longer function. I get an error when I run the sequence. Solution: In LabVIEW 6i, mass compile all of your Test Executive VIs. This option is in the Tools menu under Tools » Advanced » Mass Compile. You will want to open the directory that contains your Test Executive VIs and use the Select Cur Dir button to select the entire directory and its contents, to mass compile all of them at the same time. After a mass compile, your Test VIs will function as they did in LabVIEW 5.x. National Instruments has replaced the Test Executive Toolkits with NI TestStand, which contains many new features and expanded capabilities. See the link below for more information on NI TestStand.
