Which Devices Support Arm Start Triggering?

Hardware: Counter/Timers (TIO)>>Devices

Problem:
Which device's counter circuits will support arm start triggering?

Solution:
The following devices support arm start triggering for counter circuits.
  • NI-TIO devices, which is the 660x series of devices.
  • M-Series MIO devices, which is the 62xx series of devices.
  • C-Series DIO modules placed in slot 5 or 6 of a Compact DAQ 9172 chassis.

E-Series devices have counters, but they do not posses the arm start trigger circuitry.  For additional differences between E-Series and M-Series devices please see the link below.

NI-TIO devices also support Digital Synchronization, which is also known as Pad Synchronization.
