Why Are My Volume Licenses Checked Out In the Wrong Order?

Problem: I have a volume license file that has some unmanaged concurrent licenses and some non-concurrent licenses. It seems that all of my unmanaged concurrent licenses are getting checked out when the non-concurrent licenses should be checked out instead. Why is this happening?

Solution: With NI VLM 2.0, volume license files contains the keyword "sort" to keep the concurrent and non-concurrent license pools separated. NI VLM 2.0.0.75 and above supports this keyword. If you are using a version less than this, upgrade to the latest version by installing the latest version of NI VLM over your existing NI VLM installation. If this does not fix the problem, ensure that you have given permission for the correct computer or user for the correct product. Also, ensure that you have clicked the "Apply Changes" button after assigning permissions.
