Problem: I just installed Calibration Executive 3.1; why do I get error -17313 whenever I try to run a calibration procedure? Solution: This error typically occurs when you have TestStand 3.5 installed. If TestStand 3.5 is installed, error -17313 (an invalid parameter error) occurs and displays a message similar to the one below. Error -17313 occurred at Parameter 'instrument references[]': Type of argument expression 'FileGlobals.instrumentReferences' is incompatible with parameter. Expected Array of Object References, found Array of Numbers. Since Calibration Executive uses the TestStand 3.1 engine, before running it you must set the active version of TestStand to 3.1. You can do this by running the TestStand Version Selector typically located in your Start Menu under Start » Programs » National Instruments » TestStand 3.5. Once TestStand 3.1 has been set to the active version, error -17313 should be resolved. Related Links: Products & Services: Calibration Executive Attachments:
