Math Interface Toolkit Inputs and Outputs
Primary Software: LabVIEW Toolkits>>Math Interface Toolkit
Primary Software Version: 1.0
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: I am using the Math Interface Toolkit in LabVIEW. When I add my VI, the inputs and outputs do not generate automatically. How can I add the inputs and outputs?
Solution: On your front panel:
- Right click on the VI Icon in the top right corner then select Show Connector.

- Your front panel should now display the connector pane in place of your VI icon.

- Wire each of the front panel controls and indicators to your connector:
- Left click on an input connector
- Left click on a control on your front panel to connect it
- Left click on an output connector
- Left click on an indicator on your front panel to connect it
- Repeat these steps for each control or indicator

- In addition, if you need more inputs or outputs terminals on your connector, right click on the Connector Pane » Patterns . Select the pattern of your choice.
- On your front panel go to Tools » Math Interface Toolkit.
- On the Math Interface Toolkit screen, delete any existing VIs.
- Add your VI which contains the wired inputs and outputs.
- The inputs and outputs should now automatically generate as seen below.
Note: Only strings, numerics and arrays of numerics are supported.
