Is the PCI/PXI-6723 Compatible with the BNC-2115? Hardware: Multifunction DAQ (MIO)>>Connector Blocks>>BNC-2110, Multifunction DAQ (MIO)>>Connector Blocks>>BNC-2115, Signal Sources (AWG/FG/AO)>>Analog Output Devices>>PCI-6723, Signal Sources (AWG/FG/AO)>>Analog Output Devices>>PXI-6723
Problem: I have a PCI/PXI-6723 with two 68-pin connectors in the front. I see that Connector 0 can connect to a BNC-2110 becuase it has pins for digital, PFI, and counter lines, along with analog output channels 0 through 7. I see that Connector 1 has pins for analog output channels 8 through 31, and the Data Sheet recommends a BNC-2115 connector block which also has analog output channels 8 through 31. However, the BNC-2115 product page states that it is for 100-pin E-Series devices. Will the PCI/PXI-6723 work with the BNC-2115? Solution: Yes, the BNC-2115 has a 68-pin connection in the back and will work just fine when connected to Connector 1 on the PCI/PXI-6723. Analog output channels 8 through 31 on the PCI/PXI-6723 will match up correctly with analog output channels 8 through 31 on the BNC-2115. The product page for the BNC-2115 states that it is most commonly used with 100-pin E-Series devices through a SH1006868 splitter cable, but it can also be used with the PCI/PXI-6723.
