Problem: Is there support for the PCMCIA-GPIB card under Linux? Solution: There are no plans to provide support for PCMCIA-GPIB cards under Linux. This would take some effort, since we have no PCMCIA source code base for a UNIX GPIB driver. Linux was the first UNIX-like operating system that supports the PCMCIA bus. If you have a supported distribution, consider using a USB GPIB solution on portable computers. See the links below for more information on current Linux driver support.
