Problem: When I install LabVIEW 8.2 with the Control Design Toolkit version 2.1.1 the Express Workbench Projects tool is missing. Solution: This problem occurs only when LabVIEW 8.0 and 8.2 are installed and LabVIEW 8.0 is installed with System Identification Toolkit or Signal Express. The Folder and Related VIs needed to convert my Express Workbench Projects into LabVIEW 8.2 do not install properly and need to be manually copied over from your 8.0 folder. The VIs that install for LabVIEW 8.0 will also work for 8.20. You will need to copy the files usually found at: "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.0\project\Express Workbench\ConvertToLabVIEW.llb" "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.0\project\Express Workbench\mxmcvt_mxwLVapi.dll" "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.0\help\msureasstvi.chm" To the corresponding 8.2 directory usually found at: "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.2\project\Express Workbench\ConvertToLabVIEW.llb" "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.2\project\Express Workbench\mxmcvt_mxwLVapi.dll" "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.2\help\msureasstvi.chm" Related Links: Attachments:
