Source Distribution Error when Building a LabVIEW SignalExpress User Step VI

Primary Software: LabVIEW Signal Express>>Development System
Primary Software Version: 2.0
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: LabVIEW Development Systems>>Full Development System

Problem:
When creating a source distribution for my LabVIEW SignalExpress user step I followed the help directions, but received Error 7 when trying to build the source distribution. Why am I receiving this error and what can I do to fix it?

Solution:
A source distribution of a user step template VI may link to bad library elements, even if those elements aren’t referenced directly. To prevent this from happening, perform the following steps:
  1. Open the Source Distribution Properties dialog box by right-clicking on the Source Distribution and selecting Properties.
  2. Select the Additional Exclusions Category.
  3. Check the radio button next to Remove unreferenced project library members in the Type definitions and project libraries section as shown in the image below. This will keep bad link elements from being built into the source distribution.
