Unable to Build for PDA Target

Primary Software: LabVIEW Modules>>PDA Module
Primary Software Version: 8.2
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem: I have installed Microsoft eMbedded Visual Tools but I still get an error saying "Error building executable. Unable to create file" while building for the Pocket PC 2003.

Solution: This problem is usually caused in a computer where the PATH environment variable doesn't get set properly after installing Microsoft eMbedded Visual Tools. All you need to do is locate the executable link.exe for Microsoft eMbedded Visual C++, usually located in the Program Files directory and then determine its path and add it to the PATH environment variable. For example “C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.2\PDA\Utilities\VC\ce\bin\x86_arm”.

To add the path to your environment variable follow the following steps (this requires administrator privileges):
Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties. Select the Advanced tab. Click Environment Variables. Look for PATH in the list of system variables, select it, and then click Edit. Add the path of link.exe to the beginning of PATH followed by a semicolon as a separator.
