Why does my CVS not Display My FireWire Camera When I Expand Devices and Interfaces? Do I have to Refresh (F5) Everytime? Problem: I have connected my FireWire camera to the CVS and in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX), I expand the Devices and Interfaces node for the CVS but I only see my Reconfigurable I/O (RIO) part. The camera does not appear. However, if I refresh by pressing F5 or selecting it from the menu, the camera appears. Why is the camera not automatically detected? Do I have to refresh everytime? Solution: This is a known issue in MAX 4.3 and earlier. It has been fixed in later versions of MAX. If you have MAX 4.3 currently installed, you can fix the issue by applying the following patch or upgrading to a later version of MAX. Related Links: Attachments:
