LabVIEW 8.0 Online Evaluation Gives Multiple Sessions Error

Problem: When I try to use the LabVIEW Online Evaluation, I get an error stating  "You can only connect to one LabVIEW demo session at a time".  However, I know that I am attempting to only access it once.  How can I fix this?

Solution:

To be able to access the LabVIEW Online Evaluation, you must delete the cookie entitled "LabVIEW.NI.demo.servers.com"

To access cookies in Internet Explorer, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Tools»Internet Options.  In Temporary Internet Files, select the Settings button.  In the Settings dialog box, choose the View Files button.
  2. Scroll through this folder to find and delete the file named Cookie:<computer name>@LabVIEW.NI.demo.servers.com.

To access cookies in Mozilla Firefox, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Tools»Options»Privacy»Cookies.  In the Cookies tab, select the View Cookies button. 
  2. Scroll through this folder to find and delete the folder named LabVIEW.NI.demo.servers.com.
