Problem: My PXI-8186 randomly reboots for no reason and gives MAX configuration files may be corrupt after booting.Solution: These errors are caused by a corrupt system files, possibly caused by a power cycle while the files were being accessed. Deleting the following items from your PXI system should resolve the issue. Delete these files:

If this did not fix the problem, formatting the system drive and reinstalling the software might be necessary. To format the system drive, right-click the controller from within Measurement and Automation Exlplorer and select Format Drive.
