Problem: I know PCI, PCIe, and PXI Camera Link cards support several standard baud rates for serial communication to my Camera Link camera, but can I change the baud rate programmatically? Solution: No, you cannot change the baud rate of a Camera Link card programmatically. The baud rate needs to be changed in the camera file before opening a session to the camera. You can manually change the baud rate by editing the camera file in the NI Camera File Generator: Using a new or existing camera file, select Settings»Serial Settings. In the Port Settings section, select a baud rate from the Baud Rate drop-down menu. ![]() Related Links: Products and Services: Camera Link NI Vision Acquisition Support KnowledgeBase: KB 3UKHMOAJ: Serial Settings Reset on my Digital Camera after IMAQ Start VI KnowledgeBase: KB 3X8MT3HB: IMAQ Boards that Support Routing to the Camera Control (CC) Lines Attachments:
