Format Numeric Into Comma Separated Format (European Format) Using the PDA Module

Problem: When trying to format a floating point number into a string on the PDA it is not possible to use the syntax that changes a full stop into a comma "%,;". This is the European fractional string format.

Solution: There are a number of solutions to this problem, however many of them much longer than the desirable "format into string function" to execute. Therefore attached is an example that uses the two quickest processes.
  • "Format into" - Does not work on the PDA
  • "Search Replace" - Slowest
  • "Replace" - Fastest yet most complicated
