Why do I get an error when using same .icd file for different IMAQ cards?

Hardware: Image Acquisition (IMAQ)>>Digital Image Devices>>PCI-1428

Problem: I created a camera file for IMAQ PCI-1428 and now I am using the same file for IMAQ PCIe-1430.  I have made the necessary changes in the .icd file by changing the PCI 1428 card reference to PCIe-1430 but I come across error #0xBFF60056 Requested attribute is invalid. How can this be resolved?

Solution:

You will need to add support for the other IMAQ card by using the NI Camera File Generator.

Edit the file for "Supported Image Acquisition Devices" and add NI PCIe-1430 in Settings»Camera»Supported Image Acquisition Devices.
