Problem: I just upgraded to NI-DAQmx 8.7. Why am I receiving Error -88705 with my USB-621x device? Solution: After upgrading to NI-DAQmx 8.7 you may see this error with USB-621x (USB bus-powered M Series multifunction DAQ) devices. The error occurs because the firmware has not been updated on your device. Simply unplug and replug the device, the updated firmware will load, and the error will be resolved.
