Why Are My Permission Requests Gettting Queued Even When I Have "Automatically Handle Permission Requests" Selected in NI VLM?

Primary Software: Other NI Software>>NI Volume License Manager
Primary Software Version: 2.1
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem:
I have checked the Automatically handle permission request option in NI VLM. However, I still see the requests in the NI VLM queue and need to accept them manually. Why aren't the requests handled automatically?

Solution:

In order to automatically handle permission requests, the NI VLM application must not be running. If you have enabled automatic request processing and the NI VLM application is running when a request comes in, it will appear in the Permission Queue. You can then process the request manually or the request will be processed automatically when the NI VLM application is exited.

There is no way to have NI VLM automatically accept these requests when you have the application running, it is only when the server runs without the application open that it will handle the permission requests automatically.  If you have NI VLM closed and the server running these requests will be handled automatically.

Permission requests typically only come when the client installs the software using a Volume License Installer. For additional information on Volume License Installers, refer to the related link below.
