Unresolved Dependencies Error when Installing Software to cFP, cRIO, or PXI Targets

Problem:
I am trying to install LabVIEW Real-Time software on my target cRIO, cFP, or PXI Real-Time device. When I right click and click Add/Remove Software on my remote system and select LabVIEW Real-Time or other software, it gives me an error, “Cannot continue because of the following unresolved dependencies: LabVIEW Real-Time 8.2 requires LabVIEW RT Common 8.2”, as shown in the popup below or "Can not continue because of the following unresolved dependencies: USB 1.0 requires Base 3.0" or similar message.  How do I resolve these issues?

Solution:
The unresolved LabVIEW Real-Time dependency on your remote system is caused by a software dependency on the host. When you click Add/Remove Software on the cRIO, cFP or PXI, it will poll your host computer to see what software updates are available to download onto the remote system. If you are trying to install LabVIEW Real-Time on the Real-Time target before installing the LabVIEW Real-Time module or other Dependent Software on the host, you will see this unresolved dependency error, since the target polls the installation from the host. Make sure that you correctly install the corresponding software on the host computer first before trying to add software on the cFP, cRIO, or PXI Controller. This situation can also occur because on PXI systems after corectly installing Real-Time Software on a host machine for cFP and cRIO were it installs some common Real-Time files but not PXI target specific files.
