Can the NI 9802 Read or Write SDHC Cards Larger than 2 GB? Hardware: Compact FieldPoint>>Controllers
Problem: I am attempting to use the NI 9802 module to access a Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) card that is larger than 2 GB, but I am receiving Error 65549. Why am I receiving this error?Solution: The 9802 specifications state that it can hold two standard SD cards up to 2 GB each, for a total of 4 GB. It was not designed for SDHC cards. If you have an SDHC card in either slot, you will receive Error 65549 when you try to mount it:CompactRIO: A general or undefined error has occurred. Verify that the card is inserted properly and that the door is closed. If the error occurs again, run CHKDSK on the card.The 9802 module has not been tested with standard SD cards that exceed 2 GB. While these cards may work, National Instruments does not officially support this configuration.
