Supplying Power to the CVS-1450 I/O Terminal Block and Prototyping Accessory Hardware: Image Acquisition (IMAQ)>>Compact Vision System
Problem: I cannot get my CVS-1450 I/O Terminal Block and Prototyping Accessory to power up. My CVS is connected to power, and I've connected the 44-pin D-sub connector as shown in the instructions, but am still not getting power. How can I get power to the accessory? Solution: The CVS-1450 I/O Terminal Block and Prototyping Accessory get their power from the Ciso and Viso terminals on the CVS. The accessories recieve their power indirectly through the 44-pin D-Sub cable on the CVS. Even though the isolated power pins on the CVS are rated at 5-30VDC, 24VDC should be applied to the pins when one of these accessories are connected to the CVS. Do not draw more than the upper limit of 500mA through the D-sub cable. If you need to exceed this limit you can supply power, according to the specifications, directly to the Viso and Ciso terminals on the accessory. These are in the upper right hand corner and act just like the corresponding terminals on the CVS. Related Links: Product Manuals: NI CVS-1450 Series User Manual Attachments:
