Problem: When installing the LabVIEW 7.1.1 update, the following message is reported: Update FailedThis error will not allow the LabVIEW 7.1.1 update to proceed. How can I resolve this issue in order to install the LabVIEW 7.1.1 update? Solution: Some products, such as TestStand 3.5 and NI-DAQ 8.0, include an updated version of the LabVIEW Run-time 7.1.1. The updated version is modified to support new installer metadeployment functionality that is supported by these products. If you have installed a product that uses the LabVIEW Run-time Engine 7.1.1 or greater, you may see this error when trying to upgrade over this modified installer. Since the newer LabVIEW 7.1.1 Run-time Engine is already installed, you only need to update the development environment. To complete the LabVIEW 7.1.1 Maintenance Release update, download and extract the update files.
