Why Can't I Download a Driver From the National Instruments Website? Primary Software: Utility Software>>NI Instrument Driver FinderPrimary Software Version: 1.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: When I click on a driver to download from NI's website, it takes me to a page that says "Page Cannot be Found". I have a National Instruments profile and I am logged in. I can access it from other computers, but why won't my computer work? Solution: A likely cause of this is that the anti-virus software on the problem computer is blindly blocking ftp sites. When you click to download a driver from our website, it takes you automatically to an ftp site where the driver is located. If the anti-virus software is blindly blocking these site, it gives the generic "Page Cannot be Found" message. Modify your anti-virus software to allow ftp sites and you should be able to download drivers. Related Links: Attachments:
