Assigning an IP Address for a GPIB-ENET on a DEC Alpha Returns a "cannot find ppaid" Error Hardware: GPIB>>External Controllers/Convertors>>GPIB-ENET, Instrument Connectivity Other>>Ethernet>>GPIB-ENET
Problem: I have a DEC Alpha with OSF1 version 3.2 on it. When I try to assign an IP address to my GPIB-ENET, I get the following error: Error cannot find ppaid. Solution: This happens because in OSF1 version 3.2, the name of the ethernet driver changed between versions, and the old version of IPASSIGN is looking for the old file name.
