Does LabVIEW Support Bluetooth?

Bluetooth support has been added in LabVIEW 7.1. These VIs are located under All Functions»Communication»Bluetooth. In LabVIEW versions 8.0 and later, the Bluetooth VIs are located under Functions»Data Communication»Protocols»Bluetooth. There are several constraints to using Bluetooth with LabVIEW so please refer to the White Paper about Developing Bluetooth Applications with LabVIEW.

There are also several workarounds which were available before LabVIEW 7.1. For example, you can use wireless TCP communication combined with a device that performs TCP/Bluetooth translation.

The LabVIEW Mobile Module, last released with LabVIEW 2011 SP1, also supported Bluetooth.
