Making Test Executive 5.1.1 or 5.1 into a LabVIEW 6i Executable

Problem: I am trying to build Test Executive 5.1.1 or 5.1 into an executable using LabVIEW 6i, and I am getting errors when I launch the executable.

Solution: To make Test Executive 5.1.1 into a LabVIEW 6i executable, follow these steps:

1. Mass compile the callback.llb located in your LVEXEC511 directory in LabVIEW 6i. (You may wish to make a duplicate of this file first.) This directory will reside at the location you had Test Exeuctive install to; most likely your C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 6i\LabVIEW 6\LVEXEC511 directory.
   
   
2. Load the lvrt.bld file in your LVEXEC511 directory, or:
   
   1. manually add the Test Executive.vi (which resides in the LVEXEC511\operator.llb) as a top level VI
      
   2. manually add the Please Wait.vi and the Sequence Editor.vi (which reside in the LVEXEC511\engine.llb) as dynamic VIs
   
   
3. Add in the newly mass compiled callback.llb along with the engine.llb and operator.llb as support files.
   
   
4. Build your executable.

4. Add in the newly mass compiled callback.llb, engine.llb, and operator.llb as support files.
   
   
5. Build your executable.

Note: If you are using any drivers (serial, DAQ, etc.), you will also have to add those in as support files.
