How Should an SCC-RLY01 Module Be Connected

Hardware: SCC>>Modules>>SCC-RLY01

Problem: I am using an SCC-RLY01 module, and I need to know how to connect it to my device.

Solution: The SCC-RLY01 has three leads and are connected as follows:

  1. NC (Normally Closed)- this will have nothing connected to it.
  2. COM (Common)- this will be connected to the positive lead of the device.
  3. NO (Normally Open)- this will be connected to the positive lead of the voltage source that is needed to operate the device.

Then, connect the negative lead of the device to the negative lead of the voltage source. For example, to connect a 120 VAC valve to the SCC-RLY01 module the +120VAC will be connected to NO, -120VAC will be connected to the negative lead of the valve, COM will be connected to the positive lead of the valve, and the GND of the voltage source will be connected to the GND of the device. Thus, the SCC-RLY01 module will operate the valve when the module receives a logic high signal.
