6602 Uses 80MHz Clock When MasterTimebase is Specified Hardware: Counter/Timers (TIO)>>Devices>>PCI-6602
Problem: If you are doing a period meausurement and specify MasterTimebase as the CI.CtrTimebaseSrc and 20MHz as the CI.CtrTimbebaseRate the board still uses the 80MHz clock. It appears that setting it to use MasterTimebase, does nothing since it uses the 80 MHz clock anyway. What's going on? Solution: You should not select "MasterTimebase" as the timebase source. Instead, you should select the 20MHz Timebase in place of MasterTimebase. This will ensure proper operation. Since the MasterTimebase should always be equivalent to the 20MHz Timebase no functionality is lost. Related Links: Attachments:
