I Can't See My FTDI - FT2232C USB Device in MAX?

Primary Software: Driver Software>>NI-VISA
Primary Software Version: 4.2
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: LabVIEW Development Systems>>Base Package
Hardware: Instrument Connectivity Other>>USB

Problem:
I am trying to communicate to my USB FT2232C device using LabVIEW. I can see it in Device Manager but cannot see it in MAX.

Solution:
To use the FTDI USB devices with LabVIEW, you will need to download and install the Virtual COM Port Driver from FTDI website. Make sure you have NI-VISA installed. Once you have these installed, you should see the device under My System»Devices and Interfaces»Serial & Parallel»"Your Device" (ComPort).

To communicate to it in LabVIEW you will need to configure the Serial port with the right baud rate and use the VIs supplied with NI-VISA.
